Biography

I moved to Utah from Idaho last August after retiring my nursing cap of 45 years to continue to be involved with my 2 grandsons. I had decided several years ago that I would like to work in the schools upon my retirement.  Kids are such amazing people and there is nothing better than the moment their eyes light up with understanding the concepts you have been teaching them! I was born and lived in Idaho my entire life so this has been an adventure!

I have 3 kids, 6 grandchildren, 2 dogs, and 2 cats.  I have been very involved in music, playing the Alto and Tenor sax for 23 years in different bands and a saxophone quartet.  I took on a new challenge of learning the Cello since moving to Utah. I love to read, crochet, and long walks. I love to work out in the yard and my flower beds.  I am trying my hand raising vegetables in  garden boxes instead of the traditional  way so any suggestions are always welcome.
