Chelsea Silverwood

Social Worker

Chelsea completed her Bachelors in Social Work from Weber State University and used that degree to be a case manager in the Ogden community for six years. Pursuing further education, she enrolled with the University of Kentucky and earned a Masters Degree in Social Work with a clinical focus. Since then she has continued to work in the community providing individual therapy and parenting groups for children and their families.

Curiosity is a driving force in her life. She often satisfies this craving for knowledge through her love of reading. She sets yearly goals to read as many books as she can. Chelsea believes storytelling is very personal and spotlights what we value most in our lives. Her personal story includes her husband, their two daughters, and their vocal husky. She is always eager to fill her story with more adventures, like exploring the national parks, touring historical landmarks, and learning new things.

Chelsea is excited to be a part of the Bridge family to help the students and staff work harmoniously together. She is trained in trauma and behavioral challenges in young children, both at home and school. She is passionate about creating customized approaches to best support kids and their goals. Chelsea enjoys collaborating with parents and teachers to help them learn the tools to improve relationships and nurture the emotional and social development of young children.
