SpED Teacher

Professional Educator License - Hi from the homestead! I am so excited to be coming to Bridge Elementary this fall.  I live in a 112-year-old home in Garland, UT. I have horses, goats, dogs, chickens and many cats.  I also have 3 daughters and a husband I have managed to keep for 30 years.  I love children and especially those who might need a little help.  I received my bachelor’s degree in special education from Western Governors University.  I have worked as a paraprofessional for Davis School District, Ascent Academies and Box Elder School District for 14 years.  I have worked as a Special Education Teacher for Box Elder School District for 2 Years.

I have worked in grades K-9 focusing on reading and math.  I was a Navy wife for 10+ years and traveled the world with my husband living in some exotic locations.

My family has an aviation business “Rugged Mountain Aviation.” We fly helicopters for search and rescue in Wyoming and in Haiti.  My husband, my daughter and her husband are commercial rated pilots.  My other 2 daughters are wanting to become pilots and me….. well, I am scared of heights.  I still fly with them but I hold on REALLY tight.  My motto in life is “Try Everything” I cannot wait to meet all of you!
