Teryn Ercanbrack

Professional Learning Specialist

My name is Teryn Ercanbrack. I graduated from Weber State University with my Bachelor's in Elementary Education with a math endorsement in 1998 and taught 5th grade a couple of years. I stayed home to raise my children and came back to teaching in the Fall of 2016. I completed another math endorsement from Utah State University in 2018 and completed my Master’s of Education with a specialization in mathematics at the end of April 2020. Before Bridge I worked as a math specialist in a K-8 school. I absolutely love teaching 3rd-grade at Bridge!

I teach because I want to make a difference in students’ lives. I want to help them develop skills to become lifelong learners and enjoy learning. I want to help students strengthen their self-efficacy in mathematics and help them become more engaged and enjoy learning, therefore, increasing their confidence in, and the enjoyment of mathematics. I want my students to know that they can learn and that they have support. Above all else, I want my students to know that they are important and that they are loved!

I have an amazing husband and two wonderful children, a boy and a girl. I enjoy spending time with my family in any way that I can. We especially love to travel and play games. Teryn Ercanbrack holds a Professional Educator License.
